Behind the somewhat unimpressive name IWC hides the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer International Watch Company. Since 1868 the label in Schaffhausen produces high-quality chronographs of the extra class like the models Portugieser, Portofino, Aquatimer or engineer. All IWC watches are characterized by timeless elegance and simplicity. In 1980 IWC together with Ferdinand Alexander Porsche developed the first titanium chronograph ever. The German football team works with the watchmaking team, so no one less than world champion coach Joachim Löw carries an IWC on the wrist. The company is connected to the world of sport. The watchmaking company also maintains a partnership with MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula OneTM. Since the cooperation with Ferdinand A. Porsche, a special collaboration has been established: IWC Porsche Design.
