The story of COS
The first COS store will open in London on March 16, 2007. The first branches in Germany will follow at the end of March. Martin Anderson has been the creative mind behind COS Menswear right from the start.
COS enters the French market and opens its doors in Paris.
The first children’s collection comes on the market.
Karin Gustaffson is appointed Creative Director for COS Womenswear and Marie Honda becomes Brand Director of COS after a few years as a shopper for menswear and kidswear.
In 2012 there are already 55 COS stores in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
COS and the successful Danish interior company HAY are starting their collaboration, which has met with great enthusiasm and continues to this day. The products from the collaboration can be purchased in COS stores as well as in the online shop and combine the best of the Scandinavian design world.
